Presenter: Kelsey Saladin ONeil, PT, DPT, North Shore Health
Pregnancy brings many changes to the body, and some can cause discomfort or pain. This presentation will review common pregnancy concerns like pelvic pain, back pain, bladder leaks, and constipation, and explain how physical therapy can help. We’ll also cover simple stretches, movement tips, ways to stay moving throughout pregnancy, and how to prepare your body for labor. This session is targeted towards those who are pregnant or planning to be pregnant, however anyone is welcome. This is not a formal birth preparation class and we will not be going into detailed labor or birth instruction.
