Prepare for unexpected events with this hands-on emergency preparation workshop from University of Minnesota Extension’s Climate Adaptation Partnership. In this event, participants will explore risks to the Cook County region such as wildfires and floods, walk through a realistic scenario, and build a personalized emergency plan for their family and property. Learners will leave with practical tools for creating a preparedness kit and greater confidence in their ability to respond when it matters most.
