CCHE Tuition Scholarship Application - Cook County Higher Education

Eligibility & Application Materials

Before applying, ensure that you are eligible for CCHE’s Tuition Scholarships by satisfying BOTH of the requirements below:

Must be a resident of Cook County, Minnesota
Must be enrolled in a long-distance degree, diploma, or certificate program as a full or part-time student

Materials you will need to complete the application (before beginning this application, be sure that you have the following as you will NOT be able to save a partially completed application and return to it later) *

Program costs (tuition & fees, books, travel, etc.)
A 400-600 word essay that answers these questions: What is your motivation for continuing your education? What are your future career goals? How will your education add value to the Cook County Community?
The first two pages of your most recently completed taxes (with your adjusted gross income)
The SAI from your completed FAFSA (only if your program requires a FAFSA; if not, disregard & skip this question on the application)
The number of credits you plan to take (if your program does not use “credits” you may skip these questions on the application)
Your proposed class schedule for the requested semester – list class name and number of credits for each class (if applicable to your program)
