Event Overview:

The plan for our class this summer is to explore several different fields in technology. We will start by looking at how a computer works. What makes it a computer, and what is the purpose of all those parts inside the box? Next, we will learn the basic concepts of coding. We will begin by seeing what all computer languages have in common, and then create a game in Python. Next, it is time to look at how the computer functions on a network. How do we connect to other devices all over the world? We will investigate wireless connectivity as well as explore the core functions of the Internet. Finally, it’s movie-making time. All movies must start with an idea, be developed through writing scripts, filming, editing, and then presenting. We will do all of that and more.

It’s going to be an exciting week and we hope you can join us!
